The process and objective of the reconstruction of the apartment building

We are restoring the refinement of Prague by renovating both first-republic and older houses. In doing so, we restore architecturally valuable elements and replace the obsolete ones with replicas, so that you can live as comfortably as possible.

The apartment building at 3 Chlumova Street will get a new facade and interior plaster. All apartment units and common areas will have new doors. The old mullioned windows will be replaced with wooden replicas that meet the highest energy and noise standards. New ceilings and floors will also be created during the conversion and the ornate lobby will be fitted with smart boxes. Wiring will also be replaced and fibre optic cables will be strung.

In addition, we will raise the house by a 5th floor. The apartments in this new building will have so-called forced ventilation in the part facing the street. This means that the windows do not have to be opened for fresh air, which makes the apartments quieter. We will also create a living attic under the roof with beautiful views of Vítkov Hill and the Prague skyline.

These structural interventions will bring the building to a condition comparable to a new building without losing its historical charm. This will result in modern housing, the energy consumption of which will be significantly lower compared to the apartments in the buildings before reconstruction.
